Step 4: Clean it up

Step 6: Inserting the Cartridge

As you are ready to put in the cartridge, you cannot waste time. As soon as you put the silicone grease on the cartridge, you have to put the cartridge inside the hole. It will take a little bit of pressure. Put a little pressure and it will get in.

Here, you have to be careful about positioning the cartridge as we have told you before. Don’t put it wrong. There will still be a little water splash and you have to deal with it. The plastic piece must be positioned in the exact place as it was put before

If you don’t remember, go through the picture and put it just the way it was before. After it is done, you have to take the nut and out it back. All you have to do now is tighten the nut. For tightening the nut, you can use your hands. It doesn’t need to be too tight and so; hand tightening will work best in this case. If you want to pliers, you can do it too!

Step 7: Put the Handle On

Now, you will see that the white piece inside the hole of the faucet has a rounded part and a flat part. On the other hand, there is also a white piece inside the faucet handle that has a round part and a flat part. Now, all you need to do is put the handle right back on the faucet hole.

All you need to do is slide it properly. Make sure that it fits in properly. Now, you have to spin it and tighten it. After that, you have to use the rubber wrench or the pliers again to make sure the handle has fit properly. Put the main lever or the water on and you are done!
